ABOUT THE SERIES

Distance makes an aircraft an icon. Maintenance returns it to parts, access, and labor.

The session begins with the museum's compressed history of flight, then moves into the hangar: aircraft at rest, engines opened, access equipment in place, and people briefly made small by the scale of the work around them.
